Amuji is a young Barbary Lion who lives with his brother, Keruru, and his grandfather Marody up on Marody's Cliff. He only appears in The New Adventures of Kimba the White Lion (Jungle Emperor 1989), and first appears in the episode "Warning".
Description[]
Amuji is a grayish brown lion. Unlike the other Barbary Lions in the pride, he has a more brownish mane and tail. He appears to be older then Leo, as he has a much more developed mane.
Personality[]
Amuji, like his brother, often intimidate and torment Leo at first whenever he is on Marody's cliff. They'd call; into question why he is trespassing on their grandfather's territory, leading to Marody breaking up the arguments or fights that; occur.
As the series progressed, Amuji started gaining respect for Leo and his envy of him disappeared. He became concerned when Leo's life is in danger as seen in "Premonition" which caused some brief tension with Keruru. One thing that sets him apart from his brother is that Amuji is ready to listen rather than dismiss something.
