N LITE Plans Remake of Tezuka's Jungle Emperor Leo Anime
Well this is unexpected, but I'm so glad to see this nonetheless. A remake of the Jungle Emperor Leo is being planned by a company called N LITE. Not a lot of details were released, but this will be done in traditional 2D hand drawn animation. Interesting times for us all when it comes to the fanbase.
Most people assumed there would be no future anime centered around Jungle Emperor, but I guess those of us that hoped for so many years are finally getting the hope. I'm hoping the project does happen and doesn't get cancelled or anything wild like that. Too many promising projects have met that fate.

The similarities between Kimba and the lion King
But there are no similarities between them. There are differences between them and some similarities. Simba‘s father was tragically felt to death. Kimba‘s father was killed by a poacher both of them have similar characters and similar designs. The lion King was based on Hamlet by William Shakespeare Kimba, is his own character.

Jungle Emperor (1989) - Subtitles episodes 1-42 (Viki)
Hello everyone!
I reckon that people may be curious to watch the '89 series subtitled in english. Well you're... (mostly) in luck.
In 2012, a collaborate effort was started to start subtitling the '89 series on Viki. The group had reached to ep. 42 in 2016. Unforuntely, Viki had lost the license to the show and prevented users from accessing the show and its subs. Luckily, fans have kept the subs and saved them from being lost forever. The subtitles are not perfect as they have a few errors, but they are not bothersome.

Infoboxes and Preloading Article Templates
Hello again,
I've been checking in now and again, and after some experice with my personal wiki (the one focused on my own stories), I've learned how to do some things that might help the community out.
1. Infobox templates.
It's possible to create templates for specific things rather than just use the basic one. The template already has the "questions" filled in, an editor just needs to fill in the answers. I've copied some of the ones I use for use here to make things easier to use.
2. Article Layout Preloads
It's possible to make preloads that load an already laid out article for a given title. I can add some if they would help. Not fully sure as there's still some hiccups with mine, but they do make adding new pages faster. So far I've add…
Updates
I am glad to see new editors on the wiki, thank you for your contributions. You've no doubt noticed I'm not very active here. This is because I've found I tend to clean up articles and such more than needs be, and I am not as knowledgeable as others about this wiki's topic. I do worry about incorrect info being added but honestly everyone should know to take wiki's with a grain of salt (not accept everything is truth).
So I will be coming on at most to check and see if things are still active, and if anyone who has the knowledge and time would like to take over please let me know. Thank you.
