During his time trapped inside a city zoo, he took the time to study how a Chameleon can change its colors to match its surroundings. This gets to the point when he acquires the ability himself, and attempts to escape the zoo. In his attempt, he slips under Kenichi Ooyama's bed, but Kimba (Leo) blows his covers. He tries escaping by hiding in the wall, but Kenichi graffiti's him, forcing him to give up and return to the zoo as he can't hide anymore.
