Crocodiles and Alligators are reptiles that appear in the Jungle Emperor Universe.
Physical Characteristics[]
The crocodiles that appear in the franchise are most likely Nile Crocodiles (but in the 1965 series, they're called Alligators). They have short legs, long tails, and scaly hides. Their coloration ranges from dark green to brownish-bronze. The eyes of the Nile crocodiles vary from green and yellow.
Information[]
Crocodiles live mainly in the water. They are ambush predators, meaning that they wait for their prey to be close to them before they attack. They eat both water creatures such as fish and land mammals. They also sometimes live in groups, known as floats, with the biggest and strongest crocodile being the leader. Crocodiles know their place and keep to it but sometimes there is trouble which can lead to fatalities.
Predators[]
None for the adults with the exceptions for humans who are poaching them. The babies and eggs are prey for Large birds, Large fish, Honey Badgers, Lizards, and Baboons.
Roles in the universe[]
Various Crocodiles are seen in the 1965 series and Onward Leo, they're skin is actually Grey.
In Jungle Emperor 1989, no crocodiles have any lines, with the exception of a giant crocodile in episode 14 who tried to kill a baby Gazelle, but was killed by Leo.
