Donbe (Dwimag) is a one time character that appears as the main focus of the sixth episode of the second series: Leo the Lion (Onward, Leo).
Appearance[]
He is a very large Gorilla, the size of an Elephant. He has black fur like other Gorillas, but tan skin as opposed to dark gray skin like other gorillas that appear in the series.
Personality[]
Despite his huge size and intimidating appearance he is a very gentle and kind (albeit dim-witted) Gorilla who just wants friends and to keep his group of Gorillas safe.
In Onward Leo:[]
In "The Mighty Gorilla", he was sent out by his troop to find Golden Valley, but is left behind since his troop couldn't wait any longer for him. While looking for him, he runs into Lukio (Rukio), and asks her to join him and be his friend as he continues looking for the gorillas. When he finds them they quickly blame and mock him, thinking he lured the Mandrills to their valley. He tries protecting them from the mandrills but they, no longer scared of him knowing his true nature, quickly beaten him. He stays with the gorillas in the Golden Valley after the Mandrills leave.
Trivia[]
- His appearance and large size could be reference to the famous giant gorilla, King Kong.
