Freedom (自由) is the 10th episode of The New Adventures of Kimba the White Lion (Jungle Emperor 1989).

"It appears that a white lioness lives in a human village. Once there, I see the white lioness and humans performing a strange ceremony. I got to see Laiya again too.... What kind of secrets are hiding within this village?"
Synopsis[]
Kimba (Leo) meets his aunt, Leona for the first time, un-expectantly in a human village run by women. He also meets Laiya (Raiya) again, who is a servant of Leona, saving them from a raging river nearby. Leona is seen as a goddess to the village and wish that Kimba (Leo) joins them. When meeting each other, Leona wishes that Kimba (Leo) stays in the village along with the humans that try and capture him.

Changes in the English Dub[]
- Mina's name isn't mentioned in the original dub until Episode 26: Sacrifice - Part 2.
- To tone down the violence, a few "potentially violent" moments were cut out: Kimba getting roped by the tribe was skimmed over, and a brief shot of a warthog screaming in pain.
