The Great Hydra Snake is the main antagonist in the jungle Emperor - Third Grader final chapter of the same name.
Appearance[]
She is a very large snake with a rattle on the end of her tail, eyelashes on her eyes, and a skull marking on her forehead.
Leo the Lion Cub (manga)[]
In "The Great Hydra Snake", it is revealed by Kitty (Laiya)'s brother Laman that the Hydra Snake invaded their home, and killed both their parents and their siblings. Laman tries to seek revenge, but is quickly defeated and tossed into a river. She confronts him and Laiya when they return, opening telling Laiya how "big and delicious" her mother was and shows her the remains in form of her mother's tail. She tricks them by using her shredded skin as a decoy, and ambushing them when they thought they killed her. Kimba (Leo) saves them from being eaten, but is electrocuted. While Kimba and Laman are gone, she bites Laiya and hypnotizes her with her poison, learning of their plan to cut her tail off with a human sword, so she sends Laiya out to make them leave the sword behind. She fights all three of them, being lured out of her cave during a storm. She gets struck by lightning and killed.

- Her involvement is never adapted into an Anime - the 1965 dub has Laiya being an orphan thanks to Human hunters.
