Owl's appear a number of times throughout the series. One notable character, Gypsy, is a species of Owl and played a notable part in one of the episodes.
In Universe, according to the English dub, Owls have their very own language, singing at night in chorus. They can speak english though according to Gypsy.
Leo the Lion (Onward, Leo)[]
Owls appear time to time throughout the series, but don't hold any notable roles, nor even speaking roles.
The New Adventures of Kimba the White Lion (Jungle Emperor 1989)[]
Owls don't appear often in the 1989 series.
One notable scene within one of the episodes "Life", had an Owl attack Kimba and drive him into a deep pit, knocking him unconscious in the process.
