Reunion (再会) is the 22nd episode in the series The New Adventures of Kimba the White Lion (Jungle Emperor 1989). This episode was not dubbed in English.

"Poachers have returned to the jungle and for everyone to protect it... Somehow, I end up saving a human... I...remember this human..."
Synopsis[]
Leo's human caretaker, Kenichi, returns to Africa and meets his little white lion friend again. Leo is unable to recognize Kenichi, but he realizes that he is not like the other humans that want to destroy the jungle.
Plot[]
Kenichi is back in Africa with his new mentor to study animals in order to be a veterinarian. When their jeep approaches Panja's Jungle, Kenichi spots Leo. A poacher named, Lamp, shoots some of the animals causing Leo to defend the jungle from humans. Leo realizes that there is something different about Kenichi and decides to take him away from the jungle and somewhere safe. Coco, Tony, and Uncle Rhino attempt to defend the jungle in Leo's absence. Leo takes Kenichi to a high cave, but gets stopped by Bubu. Leo knows that the jungle is still in danger and Kenichi tells Leo to go save the animals from being killed by Lamp. Panja's jungle is saved by The Magical Karabos Tree by teleporting Lamp out of the jungle.
