Changes in the 1966 English Dub[]
- A joke scene was cut out with Osamu Tezuka. When the animal children look towards the waterfall, the camera pans down the waterfall and the Japanese introduction song to the show starts playing. Tezuka pops in to tell the editors that this is the wrong scene and wrong time to play the intro.
- The song, Kimba's Egg Lullaby, is sung in the background but Kimba only speaks to the egg rather than singing it a lullaby.

Trivia[]
- In the Japanese version, this is a unique episode where Osamu Tezuka comes to break to fourth wall other than a small cameo, much like in other episodes.
- In the 1966 Dub, Dash is mistakenly called Speedy Cheetah in this episode.
