Sir Gillan (Giran) is a minor character that appears in episode 6: "Intruder" (The invaders in the '98 English Dub) of The New Adventures of Kimba the White Lion (Jungle Emperor 1989),
Appearance[]
Gillan wears a hunter's outfit and is in a robe while inside the ship in the morning. He has a cigar in his month, a gun and also occasionally a wine glass. He also has a claw mark on his chest.
Personality[]
He said he was one called the "Three-Clawed Deadly Hunter" because of the claw mark on the right side of his chest. He lusts for hunting in the jungle, especially when seeing Kimba (Leo) for the first time.
He also quotes that he's seen Panja's Jungle in his dreams. He's been itching to see why he wanted to come to the jungle.

Episode 6: Intruder - He revealed that he came to Africa when he was younger to seek a fortune. He also quotes that he's seen Panja's Jungle in his dreams. He's been itching to see why he wanted to come to the jungle. Thinking that the skin of a white lion is worth a lot of money because of the believed extinction, he swears to kill Kimba (Leo). After Kimba (Leo) escapes their fight on the sinking ship. he bids Kimba (Leo) farewell as he's too old and weak to continue.
