Tezutopia is an aborted animated feature film project featuring popular Tezuka characters such as Kimba (Leo), Astro Boy (Mighty Atom), Black Jack, Dororo, Unico, Dr. Mustache (Higeoyaji), and more. It was produced in 2020 in Hong Kong by Simage Animation and Unicorn Studios.
Not a lot is known about this pilot teaser. It's unclear if this was a failed pitch project for studios and Tezuka Productions or simply for an internal studio/animators' demo reel. Whatever the reasoning may be, this project is cancelled/aborted.
