The Insect Invasion (Japanese Title: Crazy Clouds ( きちがい雲) is the 8th episode of Kimba the White Lion (Jungle Emperor).
Synopsis[]
Kimba has convinced the meat-eating animals to change to vegetables so that the bigger animals can live without fear of being attacked.

Changes in the English dub[]
- A major plot element is left out of the '66 dub: the carnivores like the taste of grasshoppers and want to have them as a food supply. This starts a conflict that lasts for the first half of the series (which is mentioned in other episodes of the English dub): should the lives of these grasshoppers be valued or should they be eaten to feed the carnivores?
- Along with the plot element, much of the dialogue was altered to not imply that the carnivores want to eat anyone. This change was probably done for censorship, not wanting to imply that any of the characters HAVE to eat meat.
- In the 1965 dub, Dan'l Baboon suggests to give up on the farm idea, whereas in the 1993 dub, he suggests to steal farm animals like Panja used to.
