The Poachers (Japanese Title: "The Poacher’s Woods" (密猟者の森)) is the 12 episode of the second series: Leo the Lion (Onward, Leo).
Synopsis[]
Poachers have started aggressively hunting in a wild game preserve, putting the Malmery elephant herd in danger. Leo offers the elephants to live in his jungle to be free from the poachers. Leo and Lune (Rune) try their best to get the elephants to safety. Meanwhile, one of the elephants, Bado, has a tendency of losing control of his senses due to his troubling past. The elephants are hesitant of bringing him along for the safety of the entire herd.
Bado, who was brought along due to Leo's suggestion, goes crazy and turns violent on the way. He is eventually captured by the humans. To free him, Leo attempts to become a decoy by getting himself captured in order to buy time for the elephant's escape.

- In the English dub, Leo asks Bado if he remembers "Little Kimba", as that's what he used to call him. But when shown the flashback in the same episode, he is shown as an adult, whereas previous episodes ("The Blue Lion" and "The Saber-Toothed Tiger(Episode)") imply/show him being a young cub when called that name.
