The Sun Tree (Japanese Title: 朝日をまねく木 "The Tree of the Morning Sun" is the 49th episode of the series: Kimba the White Lion (Jungle Emperor).
Synopsis[]
Dan'l Baboon (Mandi) and Kimba (Leo) make a trip to see Scratch Baboon, Danl's Great-great-granduncle who lives in the biggest tree in the jungle called The Sun Tree. The Spirit of the Sun tree appears in Kimba's dream to tell him that the tree is dying and Kimba needs to save the animals. At first, Kimba wishes to save the sun tree from destruction, even when a monsoon rolls in. Muffy, Scratch's great-great-great-great grandson, manages to get everyone to evacuate the tree. Despite the efforts to save the sun tree from falling, the trunk breaks. The animals now live in the remains.
